On Thursday March 31 at 7pm in Physics 101 the History Department and Eurasia/Middle East Society will co-sponsor the film screening of “Frame by Frame”. This acclaimed documentary film was made by four Afghan photojournalists following the fall of the Taliban regime in 2001, when a free press emerged and a photography revolution was born. The Austin Chronicle describes the film as “tenacious and brave,” while the Washington Post states that Frame by Frame “gives passionate voice to an Afghan vision.” Associate Producer Baktash Ahadi will introduce the film and lead a discussion during the Q&A.
I hope you can attend!
