History majors at the College of New Jersey are strongly encouraged to spend a semester or even a year abroad. Studying and living in a foreign country gives students a deeper appreciation and new perspective on the material they have learned during the course of their major. For students studying a language, living in a foreign country and immersing yourself in the language will quickly increase your proficiency. Some students are even able to accompany a professor and conduct original research in their area of interest!
TCNJ offers study abroad and exchange programs in over 80 locations around the world, as well as several faculty-led summer programs in places such as Greece, Uzbekistan & Tajikistan, Germany, and Madrid. All programs are carefully reviewed to meet the academic standards required by TCNJ, as well as health and safety standards. Find out more »
